The person behind the work
Brooklyn Vapor Blasting started the way most good shops do — out of frustration. After years of building and restoring engines, our founder kept getting parts back from blasting shops that were either chewed up, washed out, or missing the casting detail that makes a restoration look right. So the work moved in-house, the right equipment came in, and the standard got set: finish the part the way the person reassembling it would want it.
Today that same hands-on owner runs every job personally — masking, blasting, finishing, and inspecting each part before it ships. No production line, no handing your engine cases to whoever's free. Just one person who understands what's on the bench and treats it like their own build.
